Target Audience:  Community groups and organisations in Sheffield and Nottingham

As part of the Love Food Hate Waste ’10 Cities’ campaign that aims to help reduce the £12.5bn worth of household food and drink wasted, we were commissioned by WRAP to deliver half day training workshops to groups and organisations across Sheffield and Nottingham.  People were taught about the environmental and cost implications of food waste in the UK and were provided with hints, tips and advice to make the most of their food and save up to £60 a month.

Attendees were given Food Champion status and provided with the skills and resources necessary to cascade the messages to service users and the wider community to ensure the campaign was sustainable beyond the delivery period.
